چکیده
Abstract In the present study, three coatings of Al 2 O 3 , –13%(TiO ) and –40%(TiO composite were deposited by thermally flame spray process. The comparative wear behaviour –TiO has been studied under high temperature levels up to 400 °C with help a tribometer at constant load 40N. Prior tribo-test, coating morphology elemental analysis examined field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), dispersion spectroscopy (EDS) x-ray powder diffraction (XRD) techniques. mechanical properties have also analyzed reported. results reveal that specific rate decreases an increase in for all except °C. overall friction coefficient is decreasing increasing temperature. –40%TiO showed maximum sustainability against as well low because its hardness adhesion properties. worn surface validates presence brittle fracture abrasive mechanism along oxidation wear, from room
